What makes this job interesting
We know as Realtors how the home buying process should go. As part of our job we guide our clients so that things will process as smoothly as possible. Often we refer different service providers that we have worked with in the past. We know when we refer them that they will provide great service and work similar to the way we work. Professional service with proven results.
A little Story
I had a buyer that lives out of state. We negotiated the purchase price and were just working on the terms. Seller wanted to close within 30-40 days which was also a good time frame for the buyer. I recommended a lender that I have worked with in the past. She has deals close in 25 days. Why not choose someone that can match your rate and close with plenty of time to spare. Buyer decided to use his lender. Two weeks into the process buyer decided to use the lender I recommended. There goes 14 days, well I guess the moral of the story is that you can't make them listen but it is to their benefit.
