How do you decide on a Realtor
Most people start looking for homes online. Once you have found a few properties you are interested in you call to see if you can set an appointment. Depending on how that particular brokerage works you will either get the listing agent, or and agent that is doing floor time. (when an agent sits in the office waiting to receive phone calls) I would recommend that you google the person that will be showing the property to see if they have any online reviews from previous clients. This is a great way to see what others think of the way this Realtor works.
Friends or Family Refer a Realtor
So often we are referred to a Realtor. This is great because this person has already worked with the agent and feels comfortable enough to refer you to them. Most people would only refer someone if they have done an excellent job with them.
The way we work with buyers
What we like to do with our buyers is set up a meeting which is called the buyer consultation. Here we become clear on what type of property you are looking for and we listen to the particular things you may need in a home. We also work exclusively with our buyers and explain that our time is a limited resource and we can only allocate our time to clients who are as committed to us as we are to them.
